Chat with a number you have not saved

Direct chat opens a WhatsApp conversation without adding the number to your phone.

Steps

1. Select the direct chat icon in the top bar.
2. Choose the country code.
3. Type the number without plus signs or spaces.
4. Optionally pick a quick reply or a tab.
5. Select Chat now.

Tip: Tick Edit message before sending to review the text first.
